Hello there


So I thought I'd make a blog so you can get to know me on a more personal level, after all, you need to feel completely comfortable with your photographer.

I'm married to an amazing man who supports me and all that I want to do in life, we went to high school together and I had a crush on him in year 7! We didn't fall in love till after school and although we are so different in so many ways, somehow, we are perfect together, Yin & Yang. We have a beautiful little boy, who has a smile that brightens the world and a wonderful boxer dog who just wants to be with us at all times. I have an amazing family and wonderful friends, all of whom I would do anything for and who I couldn't live without.

My passion in life (other than my family and friends) is my photography. I feel so privileged to be able to work in the industry I love so much and even more privileged to be chosen to take your photos and be a part of your special occasions. My passion for photography started when I was 16 and my Dad and I use to set up a dark room together. He taught me all about how a camera works and we had so much fun experimenting in the dark room that it soon became my passion and my career goal.

After high school I completed a BA in Photography at Charles Sturt University in Albury. In the 3 years I was at uni I learnt so much and I left uni more determined than ever to follow my dreams. One thing was certain, I wanted to take portrait photos, I loved getting to know a person through the lens of a camera and wanted to create natural, fun photos. I took my first wedding photos while at uni and slowly did more weddings through word of mouth. Nothing made me happier than photographing a wedding or doing a portrait photo shoot. After one wedding I came home on cloud nine, I hadn't been so happy in a long time and it was my husband that encouraged me to start a web site, advertise and really make a go of having my own business. Now here I am, still on cloud nine after every photo shoot and still loving what I do. The dark room in the laundry with my Dad is gone but my passion has only grown.

So some general trivia about me other than my passion for what I do - I love with all my heart, I love to watch a good chick flick with my girls, my favourite chocolates are malteesers and I love Italian food. I love summer for swimming and winter for skiing. I love to cuddle! Beautiful shoes and boots are my fashion weakness. My favourite sound in the world, is the sound of my son laughing, it brings a smile to my face and makes my heart leap. I'm at my happiest, the real me, with a camera in my hand or spending time with my loved ones (both is even better!)

Skye & Michael - 23rd October 2010

What a great day I had at Skye & Michael's wedding. The day started out beautiful and then the sky started to get darker. The moment I arrived where Skye was getting ready she asked for my opinion and we decided to keep it outdoors - I am so glad we did because while the rain came down when she was getting ready, it cleared up in time for the ceremony and didn't come over again until they where on the way to the reception. The ceremony was great and really personal with a beautiful sand ceremony at the fantastic Killalea rotunda. The car company was great and they took the cars around to where I could get them with the great view - I nearly got one of them bogged though! But it all turned out great. We went to Shellharbour, both the harbour and the beach. At this stage you could see the storm out to see and it made for some great clouds and light in sky. The reception was at Kembla Grange golf course so we even got to have some fun on a buggy at the club. I did learn something though, both Skye and Michael are crazy buggy drivers! At one stage Skye was driving and Michael was standing on the back - well he was for a few minutes anyway. What a great day this was with a fun and beautiful couple. We had so much fun doing silly things like skipping on the beach and doing the Toyota jump on the beach.






Skye and Michael are just so relaxed and easy and where happy to do anything I asked and even never worried, even when things didn't go to plan. What a wonderful couple and a great bridal party that was so much fun. Thanks for the oportunity to be a part of your special day.

Elise & Paul - 16th October 2010

Elise & Paul got married at the beautiful Rhododendron Gardens and thankfully, the wind kept to a minimum. What a beautiful couple they are, you can tell Paul just adores Elise, I think I heard him tell her she looked beautiful at least 20 times and he was only saying it softly. Elise looked stunning, she is truely a beautiful person inside and out. You could see the love in her eyes as she looked at Paul. It was a pleasure and an honour to be the photographer at this wedding. I also had my great photographer friend Jodie with me and we both had a great day.



Elise didn't seem nervous at all, just really happy and excited and of course stunningly beautiful!

















I love the one to the far left taken during the ceremony. Elise was just so happy to be marrying Paul that she couldn't help but shed a couple of happy tears. And the sun was just beautiful.


















































So many great places to photograph at the gardens and the sunlight was beautiful. The stunning couple also made it easy.














I love the sun in these last 3 images, I think they are my favourite 3 of the day.

Kaaren & Andrew - Mt Keira Scout Camp

Kaaren & Andrew - what a beautiful couple. They have been together for 17 years and have 2 beautiful children that are just so smart and lovely. It warms your heart to see a couple that have a wonderful life together like that and love each other so much. The wedding was at Mt Keira Scout Camp - such a beautiful location, unfortunately it did not stop raining! The ceremony was moved inside and most photos where taken in the lodge or on the balcony as we just couldn't get to all the beautiful surrounding area due to the rain. It was a lovely day though with a wonderful family.




The lodge was beautiful and you could still see all the lovely nature outside.

The light coming in the window was really beautiful so I wanted a shot of Kaaren looking out of it - as if she needed to look at all that rain.








Such beautiful children, so well manered and behaved. Truely wonderful kids.












The rain eased off enough for us to go to Market Square for some photos before heading to the reception.
















What a beautiful family.










































Thanks for such a great day guys and for dealing with the rain so well. It was so wonderful to be a part of your wedding day.
